Deputy Grand Knight Report 

Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day celebrations are behind us and I want to thank all of those who attended both functions and especially those who helped with the cooking, setup and cleanup because without your help nothing would get accomplished.   Now we move towards summer and hopefully some fun time with the family. 

 Lowes Motor Speedway Race Days are May 14 – 17 this year, and the more volunteers we get to drive the buses the more money we make for working the race.  If you have not participated in the driving of a bus at the race track come and join us for a really good time. We really need your help.   

If all registered members of our Council would volunteer to work just ONE of our projects each year we would have more than enough help.  If you are not volunteering please consider talking to one of the Knights and see what activity you can get involved in.  In the near future you will receive a letter from us because we want to be able to update our records.  This will also give you an opportunity to tell us what activities you would be willing to work and give us a pool of volunteers to staff each project with Knights who want to work on that particular project. Please complete the form as soon as possible and return it to us 

LAMB is coming soon and we plan on doing two weekends this year and maybe at different times so plan to help this is our fundraiser to help those in our community.  In the past years your turn out has been great and again this year we ask you to support us again during our LAMB drives.  Whey you get that call be ready to sign up.  If you don’t get a call it may be because we do not have a good telephone number for you and need you to tell us how to contact you. 

Remember the Knights lead the Rosary before the 1^st & 3^rd Saturday 5 PM Mass. Most times there are not enough Knights present to participate and we have to use parishioners to recite the rosary.  I would ask all of you to make a special effort to participate in one of these two days each month.  Brother Joe Nelli will be more than happy to fit you into his schedule.

^{Please make sure your members who will be attending are registered.In addition please insure that your council gives your delegates guidance as to how you want them to vote while at the convention. The reason for any convention is to have your council’s voice heard.}
