The diocese of Charlotte requires two years of Faith Formation
prior to receiving the Sacrament. That means that 7th grade catechesis is the
first year and 8th grade catechesis is the second year of preparation.
All forms may be obtained from the Faith Formation Secretary and must be submitted

Whether your child is a student at Saint Michael’s school or Faith Formation
or Home School, you must attend the Important Dates Events.
A copy of your child’s baptismal certificate must be on file before your
child can receive the Sacraments.
