Dear
Parents:
We are beginning registration of our
2008-2009 Faith Formation program. As
part of the commitment to our children, the catechists are being trained, the
lessons planned, and the calendar set.
We ask that each parent devote at least one month’s service to help our
program. We need catechists: they prepare the lessons and activities for each
class. They lead the children in
prayers, learning, and discussions. We
need hall monitors: they watch the
hallways to keep the children safe, direct traffic flow, gather attendance
sheets, and open doors for parents and students. We also need classroom helpers: they will help the catechist in the classroom by
handing out and collecting work, taking attendance, setting up and cleaning up,
and other jobs that help the class time flow productively. We need substitute
catechists: they will be called upon to lead classes for which the regular
catechist is not able to lead. Please
sign up for one or more of the following jobs.

and you must have taken Protecting God’s Children. If you have not taken this course, please
