Sacraments: First Holy Communion

The diocese of Charlotte requires two years of Faith Formation prior to receiving the Sacrament. That means that 1st grade catechesis is the first year and 2nd grade catechesis is the second year of preparation.

Whether your child is a student at Saint Michael’s school or Faith Formation or Home School, you must attend the Important Dates Events.

A copy of your child’s baptismal certificate must be on file before your child can receive the Sacraments
