PILLARS

Our Pillars (parishioners and friends who are age 50 and over) continue to participate in this wonderful St.
Michael tradition on a monthly basis from September to June.  Mass is held at 12:00 and is followed
immediately by lunch in the Parish Center.  Special food and gifts are available around the major holidays.

Note:  The Sisters of Mercy in Belmont host the Pillars twice a year
.

The Church, The Pillars, The Truth

St Michael's is a special church,
It's mission for our lord is being carried out,
By the pillars in its congregation, Who are so humble, compassionate and devout;

The truth of the gospel is real to all,
Its  message is of help, hope, and love,
The church at St. Michael's can stand the test, Because it's foundation is rooted from above;

In the middle of a crisis, it avowers the call,
With the blessing of our lord Jesus Christ,
It's pillars begin to seek out a way, To fulfill the needs in each, and every life;

Working hand in hand with the community,
St. Michael's has achieved great respect,
Not only from its neighbors and friends,
But from our lord, who shall truly bless;

Come unto me, Jesus has said,
And the church at St. Michael's says come,
With truth as it's goal and pillars as its hands and feet, No race will be too hard or long to run;

May god bless St. Michael's in the days ahead, May god shine his rays of blessings upon you, May our lord give strength and guidance to its pillars, To reach every task they set out to do.
