2008 Stewardship Program

How Can I Become Involved?

The 2008 Stewardship Program kicked off today. It opens a communication path between you and your parish. During the next few weeks, you will be provided information and materials at Mass, in the bulletin, by exhibits and through the mail concerning Stewardship. These materials will assist you in prayerfully reviewing your relationship with God, your parish, and your parish community based on your time, talent and treasure.

Some Things to Consider:

Time: A limited source that must be individually allocated.
Your first duty is to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Day, of Obligation.
Allocate time for other religious activities,
Participate in parish ministries that fit your time and schedule the best.
Work in your parish community as time permits.

Talent: Each of us has our own God-given set of talents that should be used to the
best of our ability.
How can I best participate in the Liturgy?
In which of the parish ministries can 1 best utilize my skills']
Where does my parish community need me?

Treasure: Contribute according to your means.
Regular use of the offertory and building fond envelopes.
Support parish educational and charitable programs.
Contribute to your parish community.

SI Michael's Stewardship Program encourages you to prayerfully consider your relationship with your parish and to allocate your time, talent and treasure m a way that best lets you enjoy spiritual growth and personal satisfaction while making a positive impact on your parish.

Unity Prayer for Stewardship

Gracious God, You have made us in your image and blessed us with many gifts. You call us to develop our
gifts for the good of our Sisters and Brothers. Form us into a community of holy and joyous people who
care and act with compassion. Lord, you are the Good Shepherd. With the breath of your Spirit, help
us to open our hearts and become good shepherds and stewards. In unity, we pray for your guidance as
we come together spiritually to serve you O Lord. Let us continue to sing the song of Saint Michael’s as we
build on our foundation. Through Jesus Christ we pray. Amen
